Cross-functional communication | Building on the strength of cross-functional teams

Background and Challenges

A large pharmaceutical multinational group discovered that daily communication between the Product Information and Sales Department has been poor, and conflicts were surfacing more regularly.  A “silo” mentality prevailed among teams.  The rigid approach team members adopted were against the back-drop of the need for speedy dissemination of product information to the market place.  To drive company sales, the Director engaged MTI’s services to change the behavior of his staff.
